New York is a 2009 Indian thriller film directed by Kabir Khan, produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, and with a screenplay by Sandeep Srivastava. Visual effects are by Visual Computing Labs, Data Elxsi Ltd.[1] It stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Irrfan Khan. New York begins in 1999, ends in 2008, and tells the story of three students studying at the fictional New York State University whose lives are changed by 9/11 and its aftermath.


Apaharan is a 2005 Hindi film released on the 2 December 2005 and is directed by Prakash Jha and stars Ajay Devgan and Nana Patekar in the lead roles. It is the story of a complex relationship and clashing ideologies between a father and son set in the backdrop of the kidnapping industry in the eastern state of Bihar, India.


Ek Ajnabee – A Man Apart is Bollywood remake of Tony Scott's 2004 film Man on Fire, which was also previously made in 1987. The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, with Amitabh Bachchan playing Denzel Washington's role. Co-starring are Arjun Rampal and Perizaad Zorabian.

Players is a 2012 Indian action thriller, heist film directed by duo Abbas-Mustan and produced jointly under Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Burmawala Partners. The film has an all star ensemble cast, featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol, Sikander Kher and Omi Vaidya in the lead roles, whilst Aftab Shivdasani makes a cameo appearance. The theatrical trailer was revealed on 3 November 2011, and the film was released on 6 January 2012. It is an official remake of the 2003 Hollywood blockbuster, The Italian Job which in-turn was a remake of the 1969 British caper film, of the same name and carries over the basic plot-line from the 2003 version while making the characters and incidents completely different.

Agneepath (English: Path of Fire) is a 2012 Indian action thriller film produced by Karan Johar. It is a remake of the 1990 film of the same name and is directed by Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Though publicized as a remake; the film borrows only the basic plot of the original, while making the characters and incidents completely different. The title of the film is taken from a poem of the same name called 'Agneepath'[2] which was penned by Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Amitabh's father, and is recited at the beginning of the movie and creates a thematic link that continues through the movie, particularly in the climax, both literally and metaphorically.
